HOP Start Up Info

Welcome to this very unique class. You know what they say, unique times call for unique measures.

Our goals for this 6 week program:

  1. Keep motivation high and bring some community to our indoor work.
  2. Keep 1 session focused on the high end and keep it interesting.
  3. Keep 1 session focused on longer efforts with technique – no need to throttle you 2x per week right now.
  4. Include HOP Strength into your training. You’ll get the live Wed/Friday sessions as part of your HOP Cycling purchase. Details coming on that via email.
  5. Make it through the craziness together and be ready to rock as soon as races and events resume!


  • Training sessions will be Tuesday/Thursday at 6:00 pm central time.

If you’ve never been a HOP Cycling member, make sure you go and join the Private Facebook Group. It’s a great little community and an easy way to get and stay connected with others in the class. One thing I forgot to mention in the video was make sure you get some airflow set up either via fan or extra AC unit like I’ve got. And don’t forget to hydrate!

Connect to TrainingPeaks

We use Training Peaks to put the upcoming workout on our HOP Athletes programs. If you want to have upcoming workout details in advance, we can make that happen for you.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Follow this link to connect your account to our coaching account. If you do not have one, you’ll need to reg for one (it’s free, unless you want to upgrade after the Premium 14 day trial. You don’t need to do that though).
  2. Hit REPLY on this email and let us know you’

If you have an existing TrainingPeaks account, we just have to approve you. If you don’t, you can open a free account with the same link and link to us at the same time. If you already have another coach, it won’t disconnect you from them. 

Once you have an account and are linked up, we will add you to the HOP program and the workouts will populate on your training calendar as we create them. Easy peasy.
